Replenish Your Energy

How can you reset after staring at a screen all afternoon?
A simple afternoon reset can include stepping away from the screen, changing posture, drinking water, and spending a few minutes on gentle scalp massage. The goal is not to medically “boost energy,” but to create a clear break in the day.

Your 3 P.M. Reset Doesn't Have to Come in a Cup. |
There is a particular kind of tiredness that arrives around 3 p.m. You are not necessarily sleepy. You have just been staring too long, sitting too long, and answering too many things.
|
Sometimes you do not need more stimulation. You need a change of state. |
Step 1 — Leave the Screen
Lower the laptop. Stand up. Resist automatically replacing one screen with another.
Step 2 — Change Something Physical
Refill your water. Walk to a window. Move your shoulders. This does not need to become a workout; you are simply giving the last block of your day an ending.
Step 3 — Give Your Scalp Three Minutes
Detangle your hair. Pick up the gua sha board. Using the rounded comb side, move slowly from the front hairline toward the crown, then from the sides toward the back. Keep the pressure light and comfortable.
Three minutes. No notifications. No tabs. Just the sensation of stone moving across the scalp and one simple reminder:

Come back. |
Put Your Reset Within Reach
Keep the gua sha board beside the desk, not hidden in a cabinet. A good ritual should be easy to begin.
