What Order Should You Use Them In?

If you use a gel serum, face oil, and gua sha tool in the same routine, the easiest order is:

Gel → Oil → Gua Sha

Each step has a different job.

Step 1: Gel

Start with The Garden Gel on clean skin.

The gel provides a lightweight first layer without giving the routine too much slip.

Let it settle briefly before moving to the next step.

Step 2: Oil

Next, press two or three drops of The Night Oil into the face and neck.

For facial gua sha, oil has an important practical role:

Glide.

The tool should move comfortably across the skin instead of dragging it.

You do not need a face covered in oil.

Start with a few drops and add another only if needed.

Step 3: Gua Sha

Now use the smooth edge of The Crown Tool.

Keep the tool relatively flat against the skin and use light, slow strokes.

If the tool stops gliding easily, add a little more oil.

Do not compensate by pressing harder.

What about the scalp?

Treat the scalp as a separate part of the ritual.

Detangle the hair first, then use the comb edge of The Crown Tool on dry or clean hair with light pressure.

There is no need to put your facial oil onto the scalp simply because you are using the same tool.

Morning: Gel

Evening: Gel + Oil

Ritual Night: Gel + Oil + Gua Sha

A good ritual should not require a diagram every time you use it.
